3 PhD positions, a Postdoc and a Master's available, Gulf of St Lawrence, (Quebec Region) Canada.  These different projects cover a large array of expertise and could represent a nice opportunity for undertaking graduate studies on zooplankton and/or whale foraging.

Funding from NSERC is to study krill population dynamics and describe its ecological role/importance in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Canada. We also obtained funding from DFO (Species at Risk Programme) to work on the description of new habitat for the North Atlantic Right Whale in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Further information is under the links where there are offers for the graduate studies projects and for a postdoctoral fellowship. These offers are open to those interested in working on krill, Calanus and/or planktivorous whales foraging.
